Data we collect

Account data: name, email and a password (stored encrypted, never in plain text).

Baby data you enter: name, date of birth and sex.

Routine data you log: feedings (time, duration, volume, side), sleep (time, duration, type) and any notes you add.

Minimal technical data needed to run the service and keep it secure (for example, session identifiers).

We do not collect your location or contacts, and we use no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

How we use data

To provide and sync the service across your devices and authorized caregivers.

To authenticate your access and keep your account secure.

To respond to support requests.

To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse.

Legal bases

We process your data based on performance of the contract (providing the app you requested), your consent (collected at sign-up) and compliance with legal obligations.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account in the app.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with providers that operate the service infrastructure, under contract and our instructions: hosting/cloud and email providers (for example, for password recovery).

Subscriptions are processed by the App Store (Apple) and Google Play; we never receive your card details.

Some providers may process data outside Brazil; in those cases we apply appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active.

You can delete your account at any time in Settings › Delete account. This permanently erases your account and associated data (babies, feedings, sleep), except where the law requires retention for a set period.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete and port your data, as well as to confirm processing and withdraw consent.

Most of these can be exercised directly in the app (edit records, delete account). For the rest, email contato@duosis.com.br.

Children’s data

DuoBaby is intended for parents and guardians. Data about the baby is provided and controlled by you, the responsible adult. The app is not directed to use by children.

Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords and local on-device storage. No system is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. The last-updated date appears at the top of this page.
